MEET NEVE: Hi! My Name is Neve Harvey. I am 16 years old and I’m from Birmingham. I train in martial arts and Tricking at UTX Academy in Solihull. 

I started Martial Arts and Tricking when I was 10 years old, I did start dance when I was a lot younger but once I had been to UTX and seen the people there practicing with swords and karma’s whilst spinning through the air, dance unfortunately came to an end.

Over the past few years, I have managed to be flown to Europe and America to perform at tricking gatherings which are like breaking dance battles, you have three passes against your opponent to perform your best tricks in a combination, the events are full of energy and such great fun. Last year I qualified to represent Great Britain for martial arts, at the Wako World Championships in Italy. I managed to win a gold medal, so being able to call myself a world champion is still a bit crazy. This June I am going to compete in Florida at the US Open and hopefully give the best American athletes a run for their money.

Becoming the Brand Ambassador of ACROPAD is a huge achievement and I couldn’t be prouder, my aim is to show you the many different types of tricks you can do on the AcroPAD to give you that extra bit of an edge. 

WHAT'S IN YOUR TRAINING BAG: My training bag consists of martial arts Gi and belt, sword, and karmas (which are like little axes), massage gun, extra t-shirt and leggings, water bottle, deodorant, hair bobbles, hairspray, hairbrush, lip balm and a block of jelly for extra energy.

FAVE TRICK: Double full to split or TDR Double Cork

WHO IS YOU HERO: Peter Pan, he can fly and never grows up.

ON MY REST DAY: On my rest day I usually spend it with family or friends chilling out. I also enjoy walking our Labrador, Duke who is a Police search dog.
