ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS

AcroPAD Workshops are a minimum of 2 hours. We need 30 minutes before and after to set up and take down.

AcroPAD offers exciting workshops with our Air tracks for all abilities and levels. We hold workshops all over the UK with our own AcroPAD equipment and instructors.

We suggest no more than 28 students per workshop and age 5+ as a minimum.

AcroPAD can also offer private lessons after your workshop for students or teacher training.

We have a series of 10 workshops to choose from. Each specialising on your preferred selection.

SIDE AERIAL VARIATIONS

Work through all different variations of aerials, including cartwheels, one hand, helicopter, turn aerial, switch, to knee and adaptations in an out of your aerials to take your skills to the next level.

FRONT & BACK HANDSPRING VARIATIONS

Working through the steps of back handsprings aswell as continuous tumbling, step outs, to chest roll, half twist and onodi’s to link all different variations of front and back handsprings throughout.

Looking at FLYING through the air through your front and back sucks, including tucks, layouts, alternative ways in and out of the skill, linking multiple together and punch fronts to give you a skill level above the rest!

WALKOVERS & FRONT AERIALS

WALKOVERS & FRONT AERIALS

Working through all different techniques and variations of front and back walkovers, leading to front aerials and transitions in and out of the skill to compliment choreography and make your skills unique!

BALANCE VARIATIONS

BALANCE VARIATIONS

Including headstands, chest stands, forearm stands, inversions and handstand variations to learn the balance points and weight transference to help you create a stronger and more sustained balance.

FLOOR ACRO SKILLS

FLOOR ACRO SKILLS

Including headsprings, kip ups, Monkey flip, L kicks and so much more to show how floor work can fit in to choreography and to cross the boundary to breaking and how that can benefit your skill level and expertise.

TRANSITIONS

TRANSITIONS

Working through variations in and out of skills including cartwheels, walkovers and balances, including unique ways of getting in to a skill or clever transitions out of a skill in to the next to build your repertoire.

JAZZ ELEVATION

JAZZ ELEVATION

A workshop all built around building up strength and power to elevate you to another level! This will include working on leap variation, straddles, tilts and so much more to help with your jazz technique and this can then be in turn applied to all your other genres!

BALLET CONDITIONING

BALLET CONDITIONING

Including ankle strengthening, turnout control, feet dexterity, core stability, upper back breadth, virtuosity to benefit your ballet technique and conditioning specifically based around your ballet technique.

CONTEMPORARY

CONTEMPORARY

Including safe ways of performing knee and thigh drops, flying drops, butterflies, toe rise variations and contemporary choreography using acroPAD to enhance your performance and execution.

We require all booked workshops to have our liability filled out as the studio/host bearing all responsibility or for all students participating in the workshop. You can easily book in all students at once by using a comma for multiples in student name section.

WORKSHOP REVIEWS

I recently had AcroPAD in to teach my group of students aged between 6-17 and I can not recommend them enough!

Within 1 workshop , due to the equipment, dancers were able to master advance tricks without feeling nervous about the mats moving or hurting themselves.

The equipment was like nothing I've ever seen before, it was so quick to put up , and did not move or slip once even when the Dancers were jumping all over them. I have to say it's the safest piece of equipment I have ever used in my acro classes. For anyone who teaches Acro / gymnastics/ contemporary this is a MUST piece of equipment to add to your studio. Thank you once again Dan for your incredible workshop over the summer we can't wait to have you again!
